Attendees who take this course are trained at the Awareness Level can a) identify the potential chemical and physical hazards of the chemical substance, and b) isolate or evacuate the area of concern and impact as necessary. This training programs is 8 hours.

Operational Hazmat First Responder Team

Attendees would be part of the same organization and facility and work as a unified HAZMAT Team. This course is designed for individuals at a manufacturing or warehouse site who must respond to a release of hazardous materials and perform defensive operations. The course is designed to meet the recommendations of NFPA 472 and OSHA 1910.120 (q)(6)(ii). The course provides first responders incident confinement techniques such as incident profiling, hazardous materials behavior modeling, incident planning and the Incident Command System. In addition to incident stabilization techniques, first responders learn defensive tactical control skills including diking, diversion and chemical containment, and personnel and equipment decontamination.

RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act)

The United States EPA requires annual training for all employees who generate, manage, or dispose of RCRA hazardous waste. We provide job-specific facility RCRA training to ensure employees know how to perform their hazardous waste management duties according to the RCRA rules.

Industrial Hygiene Training

Asbestos Awareness

Attendees are instructed on the identification of biological materials being used, risk evaluation for the potential in personnel exposure or environmental contamination, blood borne pathogen exposure and post-exposure, Hepatitis vaccination program, design of written policies and programs, and review to determine the effectiveness of these programs. This training program will cover the provisions under the Federal OSHA Blood borne Pathogens regulations.

Hazard Communications

Attendees of this EHS training are taught the physical and chemical hazards inherent in the use of chemicals, the ways that this information can be obtained and how to use this information to safely handle chemicals in their workplace.
