Bloodborne Pathogens / Biosafety Program

A company must have a biosafety program in place in accordance with OSHA 29 9 CFR 1910.1030 if workers are expected to come into contact with blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM ) as a result of doing their job duties. PHASE Associates has the experience to provide the following:

  • Conduct an employee risk assessment to bloodborne pathogen agents
  • Perform biosafety audits

  • Identify and make recommendations for workplace practices and engineering controls
  • Assist in hazard labeling
